Acne Care Myths - Do they Aid or Aggravate?

by Abigail Mckenzee

Individuals affected by acne vulgaris tend to follow some rules to keep acne breakouts controlled. Some advices are to expose yourself to the sun, squeezing pimples and to keep away from some foods. These are just myths about acne that can actually harm the skin, provoking more breakouts that can eventually cause scarring.

Acne Myths

Bacteria: Bacteria appear to be the biggest suspect. Due to this reason, people tend to over-clean the skin. Over-washing the face will strip your skin from essential lipids that are needed to supply lubrication to the skin. A lack of surface lipids will make your skin dry and irritated which will activate an over-production of sebum. Sebum builds up and clogs along with devitalized cells within follicles, resulting in breakouts. A great advice is to clean your face, not more than twice a day with a mild soap or cleanser.

Popping Zits: Popping a zit might be a rapid solution to remove breakouts. This is really not the best acne care solution as it provokes inflammation and irritation of the skin, making the zit last for longer. Too much squeezing can provoke the appearance of a brown mark and these unattractive marks can eventually become even uglier acne scars.

Sun Exposure: Sun exposure is another myth to eliminate zits. Tanning is a temporary solution because UV radiation dries the skin which means that it is just another hosting method for other problems and disorders. If you over-expose the skin to the sun, your skin can also get irritated. When you sunburn, the body starts its own healing process. If the skin is heavily burned, the body's healing process can end in scarring.

Diet: It has been speculated for a long time that a poor diet encourages the appearance of blemishes. Greasy foods are the main suspects in this theory. These foods are generally packed with sugars and high fat values which are never good for the body in the first place. They can however be enjoyed in modest amounts because there is no real evidence that these foods generate acne.

Simple Acne Care Solution

You should apply a biological acne skin care solution to efficiently eliminate zits. The key component is a serum, from the snail Helix Aspersa Muller, which is able to cure its own skin and shell when injured. Solutions that contain this great compound do not have any side effects; essential properties to avoid this skin condition from getting worse.

Myths about acne care are usually incorrect suggestions that can make your skin condition worse. There is only one accurate way to remove a pimple and that is to apply a topical product that includes important ingredients like snail serum, to heal, restore and to avoid acne and scars.

Prevent the appearance of pimples and eliminate acne scars with BIO ACNE CARE; a natural skin care product that encourages a regenerated, revitalized, healthy and youthful looking skin complexion.
